I'm unclear what is insightful here. i.e. the article states a lot of facts, but your premise that Google is going to win is not supported by any real facts.

Google may win. OpenAI is 1/2 owned by Microsoft, and MS has a vested interest and DEEP pocket to work against Google winning.
